Intraax installations growing in SE Asia
The Intraax AA230 axle and suspension system is renowned for the
ability to allow fleet operators to maximise payload. This is a
critical consideration when income is based on volume or weight.
Minimum tare weight and maximum payload, combined with low
operating costs, made Intraax the choice of axle and suspension
across South East Asia when recently renewing delivery
contracts.
The baseline specification is best illustrated in Malaysia. Four
axles, to maximise capacity in the 48,000 litre tanker, with two
liftable when empty or one liftable when tightly turning into
service stations; wide base X1 Michelin tyres to reduce roll
resistance and improve fuel economy while providing a wider axle
track to increase stability; tyre inflation system to ensure the
X1 is always at the optimum pressure; light weight alloy fuel
barrel, with a light weight axle and suspension to suit.
Intraax optioned up with the lightest weight components,
including alloy hubs, centrifuge drums and Tiremaax, helped to
ensure the design criteria could be achieved.
