IDry Creek in South Australia is the home of one of South
Australia’s Pneumatic Tanker specialists, transporting dry
powder products such as Cement, Lime, Flyash and Sand Products
to various locations Local and Interstate, The Family owned
company, Golding Transport Industries Pty Ltd commenced business
in 1961 with Ron Golding and with the guidance of Michael
Golding, the current Managing Director, it is now a third
generation company with Company Director and Workshop Manager
James Golding, who maintains his inspiration with the continued
growth and success of the business.
The Operations Manager, Ed Herring, manages the expanding
business and focuses on Golding’s long entrenched policy of
“absolute commitment to customer service”.
Specialising in Pneumatic Haulage ensures that they maintain the
focus. Ed was keen to point out, that Golding’s long time
history of excellent service to the customer was the backbone of
the company.
Workshop Manager, James Golding pointed out that the Hendrickson
HT230 air suspension was specified with the first Convair Tanker
purchased in 1994 and it never gave any trouble. “In fact, we
didn’t replace the bushes until 10 years later,” James was also
keen to point out that being responsible for the servicing and
maintenance of the fleet, their commitment to customer service
meant that his priorities were low maintenance and safety.
James was keen to try Intraax some years ago and specified
another Convair Tanker with the Hendrickson Intraax AA250
suspension. Since then he has tried to stay with the Hendrickson
products wherever possible. “Any suspension with bushes we don’t
have to replace for 10 years is what we want in our fleet” said
James.
Their latest B-Double Tanker Unit from Convair was built with
the latest Intraax AA230 with the low maintenance HUS package.
“The HUS lives up to our high standards of low maintenance and
safety with it’s sealed bearings and extra wide brakes,” said
James. “With the five year, million kilometre warranty that
Hendrickson provides on the HUS, we can be sure that we won’t
have to worry about bearing maintenance for many years,” he
said.
